I remember when I first herd about Spice Island, I thought it was a theme park for the Spice Girls or maybe an Indian restaurant. But no, it was just an independently owned pub in Rotherhithe that happened to be on the Thames, sweet beer garden for summer and each time I moved around Rotherhithe I seemed to get closer to it. :-).

Well now...After it's refurb, we decided to check it out on Friday night, it's now a Green King pub, with the most crap of crap service and staff, not to mention it turned into some freaks sing-a-long disco at 9:30 for all the young kids in the area. Good Lord! Looks like it's back to the Bricklayers Arms!
